It has come to our attention that sending e-mail using SSL is not working properly on Athena since yesterday. We suspect that a software update may be the cause and are working on getting it resolved as soon as possible.
In the meantime, e-mail can still be sent via the normal non-SSL option. Setting your e-mail program to send without SSL will be all that needs to be done as a workaround.
An update will be posted here once the issue has been resolved. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
UPDATE: the e-mail software we use took an automatic update on Thursday night and disabled support for "legacy" e-mail client functionality, which includes SSL support for Outlook (apparently it does something differently than it should). We found the option, after much searching, to enable the functionality again and set it up. Functionality should be restored at this time.
