How do I install "LCWSoft PayPal Billing Agreements"?

1) Install and enable the "LCWSoft License Manager" addon from https://www.lcwsoft.com/download/category/3/LCWSoft-License-Manager.html under Setup > Addon Modules (if using WHMCS 7.10 or older) or Configuration > System Settings > Addon Modules (if using WHMCS 8.0 or newer).
2) Upload the contents of the "upload_me" folder to the main folder in your WHMCS installation.
3) Activate "LCWSoft PayPal Billing Agreements" under Setup > Payments > Payment Gateways (if using WHMCS 7.10 or older) or Configuration > System Settings > Payment Gateways (if using WHMCS 8.0 or newer) and configure accordingly with your license key and PayPal API details.

To obtain PayPal API details for step 3, do the following:

  • Log in to your PayPal account.
  • Go to Account Setting by hovering over your name in the top-right corner.
  • Click Update next to API Access.
  • Under NVP/SOAP API integration, click Manage API credentials.
  • From there, you can generate a new set of credentials, view the current credentials, or remove them and create a new set.
  • Copy the username, password and signature that get provided and then click Done.
  • Enter the details from the previous step into the WHMCS Payment Gateways config screen where requested.

To use this module, your PayPal account must have "Reference Transactions" enabled. Please contact PayPal Merchant Support to get that enabled on your account.
